Davis Bamwine is an award winning children's book Illustrator and visual consultant based in Kampala. He is a graduate of Art and design at Kyambogo University. With 15 years experience in Illustration, he is notably enthusiastic about utilising African literature, art and animation to tell African stories and experiences.

Milestones;

In 2021, he won the Janzi award for best children's book Illustrator. Additionally, he was among the organisers for the first Azulato chidrens festival and he created the Azulato Avatar and logo. 

He has also Illustrated curriculum text books for both Uganda and Kenya during the transformation of the East African Competence Based Curriculum that 

started in 2019.
